ANTI-BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION POLICY STATEMENT

Lex Lingua Translations is committed to applying the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in its business activities. Every member of staff, translator and interpreter acting on the Company's behalf is responsible for maintaining Lex Lingua Translation's reputation and for conducting business honestly and professionally. Lex Lingua Translation considers that bribery and corruption and has a detrimental impact in business by undermining good governance and distorting free markets. Lex Lingua Translations benefits from carrying out business in a transparent and ethical way. Lex Lingua Translations does not tolerate any form of bribery, whether direct or indirect and are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems to prevent and eliminate bribery, in accordance with the Bribery Act 2010.

MONEY LAUNDERING STATEMENT

Money laundering is the term used to describe the process by which criminals disguise the original ownership and control of the proceeds of crime by making such proceeds appear to have come from a legitimate source.

Lex Lingua is committed to fulfilling its obligations under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Terrorism Act 2000 and other relevant legislation, for the purposes of combating money laundering and terrorist financing. Lex Lingua also has in place procedures to ensure that any suspicions that a money laundering offence has been or is being committed are reported to the appropriate authorities.

MODERN SLAVERY POLICY

Modern slavery is a crime and violation of fundamental human rights. Lex Lingua Translations has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity. We are committed to ensuring transparency in our business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
